Right to access data

You have the right to receive confirmation from CORTEX MEDIA d.o.o. on whether personal information relating to you is processed and if such personal information is processed, access to personal information and the following information: purpose of processing, categories of personal information in question, recipients or categories of recipients to whom personal information has been disclosed or will be to be disclosed, the stipulated period in which personal information will be stored, the existence of the right to request the correction or deletion of personal information from the data controller or to limit the processing of personal information.

Right to correction

If we process your incomplete or incorrect personal information, you can request their correction or addition at any time.

Right to deletion

You can request the deletion of your personal information if the purpose for which it was collected no longer exists, if it is an illegal processing, if the processing disproportionately affects your protected legitimate interests, or if the data processing relies on your consent, which you have withdrawn. However, you must take into account the possible existence of other reasons that could be against the complete deletion of your data, such as statutory storage obligations, ongoing procedures, establishment, realization or defense of legal claims, etc.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request a restriction of the processing of your infotmation if you dispute the accuracy of your information, during the period that allows us to check the accuracy of the information, if the processing of your information is illegal, but you have refused the deletion and instead request a restriction of the use of the information, if for us the intended purpose of the information is no longer necessary, and you still need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or if you have objected to information processing.

Right to information portability

Information that you have given us and that we process on the basis of your consent or for the purpose of executing a contract, and their processing is carried out by automated means, we will hand over to you at your request in a structured, common and machine-readable format. If it is technically feasible, we can transfer them directly to another data controller, depending on your request.

The right to complain

If you believe that your rights have been violated and that your personal information is being used inappropriately, you can submit a written complaint. CORTEX MEDIA d.o.o. in such a situation, it will no longer process personal information unless it proves that there are legitimate reasons for processing that go beyond the interests, rights and freedoms of the information subject or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Furthermore, if personal information is processed for the purposes of direct marketing, you have the right at any time to object to the processing of personal information relating to you for the purposes of such marketing, which includes profiling to the extent related to such direct marketing. Specifically, the right to object would not be possible if the processing of personal information is necessary for taking actions before concluding a contract or for the performance of an already concluded contract.

The right to opt out of legal decisions during automatic decision-making and profiling.

The use of automated processing for decision-making will only be used if the need for the following arises: – a decision based on an algorithm is necessary (ie there is no other way of achieving the same goal) for the conclusion or execution of a contract with an individual whose data is processed by an algorithm – the individual has given his express consent for a decision based on the algorithm.
